We are a covenant community of Spirit-filled Filipino United Methodists who affirm the primacy
of the Bible for Christian theology and practice, the traditional views on marriage and
human sexuality, and the Wesleyan vision of Scriptural holiness of life and heart.
WE SEEK HEALTHY DIALOGUE
We only seek healthy and respectful dialogue as part of the discernment process leading up to the General Conference. We desire to express our convictions in the spirit of peace and humility. We will not engage in any hurtful rhetoric or hateful conversations. We only seek to speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:15).
WE PRAY FOR
REVIVAL
We are committed to the revival of Methodism in the Philippines. We pray for a return to the Wesleyan movement’s original vision of holiness of life and heart. Methodism in the Philippines flourished through Spirit-filled revivals marked by repentance, prayer, and holiness. We will continue that legacy in our generation (Hab. 3:2).
WE DESIRE UNITY IN HOLINESS AND TRUTH
We desire genuine church unity. When Jesus prayed to the Father that his disciples “may be one” (Jn. 17:11), he also prayed, “sanctify them by the truth” (Jn. 17:17). There can never be true Christian unity without holiness and truth. We pray for this unity to take place within our beloved church built upon the Wesleyan vision of holiness rooted in God's truth.
